HR Coordinator
An established, values-driven organisation is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join their People Operations & Strategy function based in Auckland. This role is ideal for an organised and people-focused HR professional who enjoys delivering high-quality HR support while contributing to broader people initiatives.

The role:
Reporting to senior HR leadership, the HR Coordinator will support day-to-day HR operations while ensuring processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with employment legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers
  • Supporting employee lifecycle changes including contracts, variations, promotions and salary changes
  • Maintaining accurate employee records within HRIS
  • Assisting with onboarding, offboarding and engagement initiatives
  • Preparing HR reports and supporting people metrics
  • Supporting policy updates, communication and compliance activities
  • Assisting with performance, remuneration and wider HR projects

About you:
You will be confident working in a fast-paced environment and comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
To be successful, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR or recruitment, understanding of HR processes, policies and employment legislation
  • Experience using an HRIS system
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
