People & Culture Business Partner

  • Partner with leaders across a large, complex operational workforce
  • Broad generalist role with a strong focus on employee relations and stakeholder coaching
  • Opportunity to contribute to people initiatives, projects, and organisational improvement

A bit about the position:
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join a large and diverse organisation supporting leaders across multiple operational sites.

In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to people leaders, providing practical and commercially focused HR guidance across a broad range of people matters. You will support managers with performance management, employment relations matters, disciplinary processes, absence management, and day-to-day people leadership challenges.

Working closely with the wider People & Culture team, you will contribute to key cyclical HR activities including performance and remuneration reviews, while also supporting the delivery of projects and broader people initiatives. The role offers a balance of operational and strategic work, providing the opportunity to partner with leaders to build capability, improve employee outcomes, and support overall business performance.

You will also be involved in reporting, analysis, policy implementation, and ensuring people practices align with organisational objectives and employment legislation.

A bit about you:
You will be an experienced HR generalist with strong business partnering capability and a passion for building effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.

You will have proven experience managing employee relations matters, coaching leaders through people challenges, and delivering practical HR solutions in fast-paced environments. You will be confident balancing competing priorities, influencing decision-making, and providing sound commercial advice that supports both people and business outcomes.

Alongside your technical HR expertise, you will be solutions-focused, highly organised, and possess strong communication skills. You will enjoy working collaboratively, have a customer-focused approach, and be comfortable contributing to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

In return, you will have the opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative People & Culture team where you can make a tangible impact across a large operational business. This role offers variety, stakeholder engagement, and the chance to further develop your business partnering capability while contributing to meaningful people outcomes.
