H2R has partnered with a leading mid-tier Chartered Accounting firm in Auckland in search of an External Auditor to join the team. Our client provides professional services in the areas of Business Advisory, Tax, and Audit and Assurance. About the role

Preparation of management reports, budgeting and forecasting, financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a portfolio of clients
Committed to providing exceptional service to the clients
Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients

• Supervision and review of workpapers and financial statements. 
• Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
• Ensure timely and accurate management of workflow and invoicing.

  About you

• 3+ years of experience within a CA environment
• Full CA ANZ or equivalent
• Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
• Excellent knowledge of New Zealand’s tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
• A “hands-on” style with the communications skills (written and verbal) to engage and support direct client contact.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within timeframes and budgets.
• Familiarity with MYOB or Xero, Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
