Crockers Property Group is a privately owned New Zealand property services company, who are seeking an experienced IR3 Tax Accountant to establish and manage a new tax services offering for residential property investors. This is a unique opportunity to build a function from the ground up, creating the processes, systems, and frameworks that will support future growth.
Working within a collaborative Finance team, you’ll manage end-to-end IR3 tax compliance, support landlord clients, liaise with Inland Revenue, and help deliver an exceptional client experience.

About the Role
As the IR3 Tax Accountant, you’ll:

• Prepare and file IR3 tax returns and rental property schedules.
• Act as the primary contact for clients regarding their tax obligations.
• Liaise with Inland Revenue and manage tax compliance requirements.
• Develop efficient processes, systems, and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve and grow the service offering.

About You
You’ll bring:

• Experience preparing New Zealand IR3 tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand tax compliance requirements.
• Property tax or residential investment property experience.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously.
