Are you an IT Project Coordinator seeking to secure a permanent opportunity before the new year?

We have an interesting opportunity within a medium sized public sector client based in Wellington. You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of technology projects and initiatives through the provision of project coordination and administration duties. The key role requirements are as follows:

  • Work alongside experienced Project Managers to deliver a range of IT related initiatives
  • Project Controls: Risk & Issues, Actions & Decisions & Lesson Learnt
  • Project Reporting: Delivery & Governance
  • Financials:  Budget, Forecast, Actuals, Invoicing, Reconciliations & Purchase orders
  • This role will also require some secretariat: agendas, minute taking, meeting facilitation, documents versioning.
  • Experience using JIRA issue and project tracking software is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of project management processes and practices including experience in Agile and Waterfall/ Prince2

Significantly, this role requires strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Flexible and highly adaptable to ever changing priorities
  • Be a self starter. Take the initiative to seek out tasks and duties that will allow projects to deliver smoothly.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
