Join a highly respected New Zealand technology consultancy delivering critical digital transformation projects across a range of enterprise and public sector environments.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer for an initial 6-month contract, based in Auckland, to support a portfolio of high-profile development initiatives. You’ll work across a variety of projects, partnering with architects, technical leads, stakeholders, and delivery teams to design, build and deliver modern cloud-based applications using the Microsoft technology stack.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, business-critical solutions where quality engineering, customer engagement, and technical leadership are highly valued.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing, developing and delivering enterprise-grade web applications and APIs
• Working closely with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and define solutions
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams
• Building scalable, secure and maintainable applications using modern engineering practices
• Contributing to cloud architecture, DevOps processes and CI/CD automation
• Supporting multiple project streams across diverse industries and business domains

What We’re Looking For Essential Experience

• 8+ years’ commercial software development experience
• Strong .NET / .NET Core and C# development background
• Advanced SQL Server experience
• Front-end development experience with Angular (Angular 10+)
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3 skills
• Experience building APIs and integration services
• Azure cloud experience, including modern application hosting and platform services
• CI/CD pipeline experience using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Proven ability to engage confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Previous experience leading or mentoring developers

Nice to Have

• Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks
• Microsoft certifications
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar
• Experience working across multiple client environments or consultancy projects
