About the role
This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded NZ government agency in Wellington’s vibrant CBD and add value to their wider finance function and portfolio managers as an experienced Management Accountant.

The role offers a varied workload, plenty of interesting stakeholders to engage with, a collaborative team environment and full-time permanent employment job security with plenty of flexibility between the home and office.  
The office premises are located near transport links and a short walk from Lambton Quay.

Due to the nature of the business, you must hold NZ Citizenship or NZ permanent residency to be deemed eligible for this opportunity.
  
What you’ll be doing
As an experienced Management Accountant, you will be expected to have the following skill set.

• CA or CPA certification (or working towards this)
• Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
• Financial modelling, analysis, and insights
• Solid stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Capex and opex reporting
• Experience with a large FMIS such as Oracle, Business Central, Technology One or SAP
• Exposure to departmental, crown or ministerial government accounting environments
• Excellent communication skills
