About the role
This is a chance to join a well-regarded private sector organisation with an excellent reputation and brand where you’ll lead their payroll function until early December 2026 on a part time basis.  

This role focuses on processing the company’s pay, conducting payment runs for salary and time sheeted staff and looking after internal customer queries 
The head office is based in the CBD and only a short walk public transport links and Lambton Quay’s busy shopping district.
  
What you’ll be doing
The Payroller’s objective is to successfully deliver on this company’s BAU payroll function.

You must be able to start a new role within 1 weeks’ notice in Wellington City to be deemed eligible for this opportunity.

In order to be successful in this role you must have the following experience:

• At least 5 years of payroll experience in a large corporate environment.
• Experience within a high-volume end to end payroll environment
• Comprehension of the Holidays Act, IEAs, and Collective Agreements
• Exposure to complex payroll systems such as Employment Hero or similar tools
• A keen eye for detail, and high level of accuracy for payroll related data entry
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• The legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Immediately available
