We’re partnering with Tāmaki Regeneration Company (TRC) to find a hands-on, people-focused People Experience Advisor. This is a generalist HR role where you’ll deliver end-to-end HR operations, advisory support, and recruitment, while helping leaders get the most out of HR systems and processes.

You’ll work closely with the People Experience & OD Manager, acting as a trusted sounding board and contributing to meaningful People Experience initiatives, all while growing your advisory skills in a supportive environment.

About the position

  • Deliver accurate, efficient, and consistent HR operations, including onboarding, contract variations, processing secondments, and exit interviews.
  • Provide practical people advice to leaders on performance, conduct, wellbeing, and low-level employment relation cases.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, ensuring the right people are in the right roles.
  • Support and develop HR systems (HiBob), keeping data accurate and reporting actionable, while helping people leaders get the most from the platform.
  • Assist with change processes, wellbeing initiatives, and People Experience projects to enhance culture and engagement.
  • Partner with the PX & OD Manager to identify process improvements and streamline workflows.

  
About you
This role will suit someone who is:

  • An Intermediate HR Advisor with 5+ years’ experience in a generalist HR or People Advisory role.
  • Strong in recruitment and confident running processes end to end
  • Systems and data savvy, with experience improving how HR platforms are used and understood.
  • Comfortable supporting low-level ER matters and keen to develop your advisory confidence.
  • Happy to combine coordination and administrative tasks alongside advisory responsibilities.
  • Collaborative, grounded, and people-focused – fit and values alignment are critical
  • Keen to learn, grow, and be mentored while still taking ownership of your work
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (particularly HiBob or similar), analytics, or process improvement will be highly regarded.
