About the roles
  
BRANZ aims to establish our Testing and Assurance Services as the market leader through expanding our commercial offering by creating sustainable growth through innovation and partnerships.
BRANZ’s commercial testing and products provide manufacturers and suppliers with assurance and insights that their materials will perform as expected and required.
  
These positions provide an outstanding opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing BRANZ’s delivery of fire and material testing. You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists and technicians who carry out this specialist work, fostering a collaborative team culture focused on delivery and improvement. In addition, you’ll have a flair for relationship management and business development, and drive business growth through strategic sales and strengthening client relationships.
  
Additional support for the team will include developing work programmes, measuring, monitoring and reporting on performance targets, and workforce planning. You will lead the recruitment and training of new team members and work with project managers to achieve contracted deliverables.
  
About you
  
We are seeking an outstanding people leader who can demonstrate the following:
  

• A successful track record in building and leading high performing teams.
• An ability to influence, inspire and promote a positive and collaborative team culture that supports delivery, strong work practices, client centricity and continuous service improvement.
• Demonstrated experience in business development using strategic thinking and relationship-building skills to expand business opportunities.
• Proven experience effectively leading the development and delivery of work, particularly in an operational/manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience working in a scientific or engineering environment is desirable.
