We are seeking an organised and proactive Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of a complex portfolio of work within a large, nationally focused organisation. This role sits within a collaborative team environment and plays a key role in coordinating programmes, supporting governance processes, maintaining stakeholder engagement activities, and ensuring high-quality reporting and administration. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating work programmes, tracking actions and deliverables, supporting meetings and forums, preparing reports and briefings, and helping leaders maintain visibility of priorities, risks, and progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate programme activities, milestones, deliverables, and reporting requirements. 
  • Maintain project documentation, action registers, trackers, and reporting tools. 
  • Provide secretariat support for governance groups, forums, and stakeholder meetings. 
  • Prepare agendas, meeting papers, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Support the development of briefings, reports, presentations, and leadership updates.
  • Coordinate information from multiple stakeholders to support informed decision-making. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and ways of working. 
  • Build and maintain positive relationships across a broad stakeholder network. 

About You
You are a highly organised professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex and fast-moving environments. You are comfortable managing competing priorities, working with a wide range of stakeholders, and ensuring commitments are tracked through to completion. 

You will ideally bring:

  • Experience in programme coordination, project coordination, governance support, or a similar role.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Experience supporting meetings, committees, governance groups, or engagement forums. 
  • Excellent written communication skills, including report and briefing preparation. 
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement. 
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 capability across Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
