Project Coordinator – Hardware Refresh Programme (Contract)
We’re seeking an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support a large-scale end-user hardware refresh programme being delivered across multiple sites across New Zealand.

This role sits at the centre of the programme, coordinating people, schedules, and site activity to ensure deployments run smoothly across a range of operational and secure environments.
The project

The programme involves a coordinated refresh of end-user hardware across multiple locations, including offices, operational facilities, and barracks-style sites. Delivery teams will travel from site to site, requiring strong planning, sequencing, and communication.
The role

As Project Coordinator, you’ll provide day-to-day coordination and support to the project team, acting as the link between delivery resources, site contacts, and programme leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating deployment schedules across multiple locations
• Supporting site-by-site planning and rollout sequencing
• Liaising with site contacts to confirm access, readiness, and timing
• Tracking progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Maintaining project documentation, schedules, and status reporting
• Supporting logistics and asset movement between sites
• Ensuring activity aligns with agreed delivery processes

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Support role, ideally within IT or technology programmes
• Strong organisational and scheduling skills across multiple workstreams
• Comfortable working with delivery teams operating across different sites
• Clear communicator able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Detail-focused, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities

Eligibility & security requirements

Due to the environments this programme operates in, you must be a New Zealand citizen and be able to obtain a basic level security clearance.
Holding a higher-level security clearance is an advantage and will be viewed favourably.
