About the role
We are partnering with a large organisation on a key Project Manager contract opportunity supporting a nationally significant programme of work.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact position where you will be working across multiple districts, each at different stages of implementation. You will play a critical role in driving delivery, supporting implementation, and ensuring benefits are realised across the programme.

You will partner closely with clinical leaders, operational stakeholders, and programme teams at a local, regional, and national level. This role requires someone who can confidently navigate complexity, manage competing priorities, and build strong, trusted relationships.

A bit about the position
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for planning and coordinating delivery across a number of workstreams, ensuring projects are progressing in line with agreed timeframes and outcomes.

You will be working closely with stakeholders to support implementation, facilitate workshops, and help remove barriers to delivery. There is a strong focus on monitoring progress, identifying risks and issues early, and escalating where required to ensure successful outcomes.

You will also contribute to broader programme activity, including reporting, governance, and supporting responses across government processes where needed.

This is an opportunity to be involved in a priority piece of work with high visibility and real impact.

A bit about you
You will be an experienced Project Manager who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and is confident working across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
You will bring:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in project management, ideally within the public or health sector
  • Proven experience delivering complex programmes across multiple workstreams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including clinical and operational leaders
  • Experience using data and insights to support delivery and decision-making
  • The ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a changing environment
  • A strong understanding of governance, reporting, and programme delivery best practice

In return
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant programme within a large and evolving public sector environment. You will be part of a collaborative, purpose-driven team working to improve outcomes for communities across Aotearoa.

If you are someone who enjoys working at pace, navigating complexity, and delivering meaningful change, we would love to hear from you.
