H2R Technology are looking for an experienced Data Project Manager to join a Wellington-based public sector organisation on a 3-year fixed-term contract.

In this role, you will lead the delivery of a complex data workstream across a large, multi-year project of work with a significant impact across New Zealand and the workforce. 

In this role, you’ll partner closely with architects to work through the delivery model.  You will be responsible for managing interdependencies and ensuring successful delivery through strong governance, planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Experience with Oracle, and data warehousing will be advantageous for the position.

This role is less about a specific technology stack and more about bringing structure, coordination, and confidence to a high-profile project where effective integration is critical to long-term success.

Success in this role will come from your ability to bring calm, disciplined delivery to a complex environment. You’ll have a proven track record managing large-scale data or transformation projects, with strengths in governance, documentation, risk and dependency management, and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
