Contract Opportunity – ASAP Start 
Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst who thrives in complex discovery environments?

We’re seeking a highly capable BA to lead a significant business-led discovery programme focused on improving organisational processes, governance, reporting, information management, and decision-making capabilities across a large and complex environment.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping future-state operating models, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing evidence-based recommendations to support strategic investment decisions. 

About the Opportunity
Working alongside business leaders and digital specialists, you will lead the business analysis component of a high-profile discovery programme. Your focus will be on understanding current-state operations, identifying root causes of business challenges, gathering and validating requirements, and helping define future-state principles and recommendations.

This is a discovery-focused engagement rather than a system implementation project, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems and influencing strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery activities with stakeholders, users, and subject matter experts.
• Analyse business processes, workflows, governance frameworks, reporting structures, and decision-making pathways.
• Identify pain points, inefficiencies, duplication, ownership issues, and operational constraints.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, validation sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Lead root-cause analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Gather, document, validate, and prioritise business and user requirements.
• Develop traceable requirements and maintain alignment between current-state findings and future-state recommendations.
• Support the development of future-state operating model principles.
• Contribute to business cases, recommendations, roadmaps, and investment proposals.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive outcome across business and digital workstreams. 

About You
You will be a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong background in discovery, transformation, and organisational improvement programmes. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, engaging with senior stakeholders, and turning complex information into clear, evidence-based insights. 

We are looking for:

• Extensive Senior Business Analysis experience within complex business environments.
• Strong current-state analysis, requirements gathering, and future-state design capability.
• Proven expertise in process mapping, workflow analysis, business rules, governance, and operating model design.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to develop decision-ready artefacts and recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an evidence-based approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working alongside digital, architecture, design, or technical teams.
