$130,000 – $140,000 + benefits

A leading corporate/private sector organisation based in the CBD is looking for a sharp, experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join their finance team on a fixed-term contract through to 31 March 2025. This role is perfect for someone who can hit the ground running and assist the current Finance Manager with an overflow of work while contributing to key corporate accounting activities.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist the Finance Manager with workload overflow and critical accounting tasks
• Assist month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting
• Provide high-quality analysis, insights, and commentary
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls
• Build strong relationships across the business, including with the CFO

What you’ll bring

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)
• Proven experience in corporate reporting and consolidations
• Ability to operate at pace and manage deadlines
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills
• A continuous improvement mindset
