Senior Credit Controller $75,000 – $90,000 | Wellington CBD

We’re recruiting a Senior Credit Controller for a well-established corporate organisation based right in the Wellington CBD — less than 15 minutes from trains, buses and the waterfront.

This is a key role within a small, close-knit finance team, led by a genuinely caring and supportive leader who values collaboration, trust, and doing things properly (without the drama).

The role You’ll take ownership of the credit function, working closely with a portfolio of business clients, building strong relationships and keeping cashflow healthy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end credit control for a B2B client base
• Building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
• Monitoring debtor balances and resolving queries efficiently
• Driving continuous improvement in credit processes and controls
• Supporting the wider finance team as a senior, steady pair of hands

About you

• Proven experience as a Senior Credit Controller (or ready for that next step)
• Confident working with business customers in a corporate environment
• Strong communication skills — firm, fair, and professional
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
