About the Role

Our client in the middle of an HRIS transformation and needs a Senior Data Analyst to bring structure and visibility to their payroll reporting.
They’re currently implementing PeopleSoft (go-live in January) and operate across five different entities, each using a separate payroll system (PayGlobal and others).

The result? Limited visibility over headcount, labour costs, overtime, leave, and total remuneration—critical insights for accurate reporting and decision-making.

Your role will be to consolidate and transform this information into clear, actionable insights using Power BI dashboards and automated reporting processes.

You’ll also create the foundation for ongoing reporting so the internal team can confidently maintain these tools after you’ve set them up.
  
What You’ll Do

  • Gather, clean, and integrate payroll data from five different systems into a central reporting structure
  • Build Power BI dashboards that clearly display headcount, labour cost, and total remuneration trends
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Finance, Remuneration & Rewards, and Digital Integration teams
  • Provide monthly and fortnightly workforce and payroll reports
  • Standardise data coding and reporting practices across the group
  • Offer practical recommendations on tools, systems, and processes to improve data visibility

  
About You

You’re a hands-on data professional who enjoys solving visibility challenges and transforming complex information into insight.

You’ll be confident working with large datasets, aligning information across multiple systems, and communicating your findings clearly to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Proven experience in Power BI and data manipulation
  • Advanced Excel skills and exposure to payroll or HRIS data
  • Experience integrating data from multiple systems
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with Finance and HR teams
  • A proactive, practical approach and ability to deliver under tight timeframes
