An opportunity has become available for an experienced Executive Assistant to work alongside a highly respected and approachable Chief Executive, providing trusted support across executive operations, governance, board administration and organisational initiatives.

The Opportunity This is a broad and senior EA position that combines executive support, governance coordination and business operations.

You’ll be responsible for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes while ensuring the Chief Executive, Board and various governance groups are well supported and equipped to make informed decisions.

Your day could include:

  • Managing a complex executive calendar and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Preparing presentations, reports, briefing papers and executive correspondence.
  • Coordinating Board and committee meetings, agendas and meeting papers.
  • Taking high-quality minutes and maintaining action registers.
  • Managing governance records, compliance requirements and key organisational deadlines.
  • Supporting organisational projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Acting as a trusted liaison between senior stakeholders, governance groups and leadership teams.
  • Driving improvements across systems, processes and administration practices.

About You

You’ll be an experienced Executive Assistant who enjoys working at a senior level and has confidence operating in a governance-focused environment.
You’ll likely bring:

  • Previous experience supporting a CEO, Executive Director or senior executive leader.
  • Strong Board and governance support experience.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Highly developed written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and excellent judgement.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 capability, including SharePoint.
  • Experience using BoardPro or similar governance platforms.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships and handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys creating order from complexity, anticipates what’s needed before being asked, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
