We’re recruiting for an experienced Senior Executive Coordinator to provide high-trust support to within a complex and fast-paced organisation.
  
This is a Senior Coordination role suited to a proactive and highly organised professional who can maintain a clear view across competing priorities, strengthen executive workflows, and ensure critical actions are followed through.
  
About the Role
Working closely with the Chief of Staff and Transformation Officer, Chief Executive, and wider executive leadership team, you’ll help maintain an organised, responsive, and high-performing executive office.
You’ll coordinate priorities, diaries, inboxes, meetings, governance processes, documentation, and action tracking. You’ll also support transition initiatives and defined work packages while ensuring senior leaders are prepared and critical workflows remain on track.
The role will also support the Chief Executive when required, helping maintain business continuity during periods of absence, peak demand, or disruption.
  

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior executive coordination and workflow support
  • Maintain oversight of priorities, diaries, inboxes, dependencies, and commitments
  • Coordinate agendas, papers, briefings, decision records, and meeting follow-up
  • Support governance readiness for executive, and other senior forums
  • Maintain strong document control, action tracking, and office management disciplines
  • Draft correspondence, responses, and briefing materials
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • Support transition activity, defined work packages, and small projects
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, templates, and ways of working
  • Manage confidential, politically sensitive, and change-related matters with discretion

  
What You’ll Bring

  • Significant experience in senior executive coordination or executive support
  • Proven ability to independently manage high-consequence work and competing priorities
  • Confidence preparing high-quality documentation for senior forums
  • Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Experience coordinating projects, transition activity, or defined work packages
  • Sound judgement when handling confidential, politically sensitive, or people-related matters
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
  • The ability to remain calm, adaptable, and effective in a complex and changing environment
  • Experience within local government, the public sector, governance, transformation, or another complex service environment would be advantageous.
