The Financial Accountant role reports to the CFO and provides support to ensure that all financial reporting requirements are met. The Financial Accountant will provide day to day supervision for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff. 2-3 direct reports.
  

Skills, knowledge and personal attributes required:

• CA or equivalent qualification
• 2-3 years, experience with balance sheet integrity and Performance reporting analysis
• Operational Accounting
• Operational Transaction processing
• Financial Reporting
• Financial Systems and Controls
• Taxation – GST, FBT, Income
• Supervision of AP and AR staff
• Strong Microsoft skills
• Strong stakeholder support skills including ability to communicate directly with customers and key internal contacts
• Industry experience is preferred but not essential
• Willingness to embrace and drive change
