H2R Technology are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join a Wellington-based public sector organisation on a 3-year fixed-term contract.

In this role, you will lead the delivery of a complex infrastructure workstream across a large, multi-year programme of work with significant impact across New Zealand and the workforce.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering infrastructure initiatives, including the management of legacy technology, infrastructure upgrades, transition activities, and the decommissioning of existing systems. Working closely with internal teams and external vendors, you will manage dependencies, coordinate technical delivery, and ensure successful outcomes through strong governance, planning, and stakeholder engagement.

This role is suited to an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager who can bring structure, discipline, and confidence to a complex programme environment.

You’ll have a proven track record delivering infrastructure projects involving legacy environments, technology refreshes, migrations, and decommissioning activities, with strengths in governance, documentation, vendor management, risk and dependency management, and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
