H2R Consulting is urgently assisting a Wellington based organisation by locating a Senior / Payroll Advisor for a 3 month fixed term.

The current Payroll Adviser has stepped away and we require someone with a strong track record to fill their duties.

Briefly:

  • City based
  • $80,000 – 120,000 (dependent on experience)
  • WFH ability (not fulltime)
  • Must be available soon 

You will be involved in / what is required:

  • Experience in dealing with outsourced providers.  
  • Ability to prepare data to go to our payroll provider.
  • Reconcile fortnightly payroll reports.
  • Responsible for end-to-end payroll processes and reporting, ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll regulations, remuneration frameworks and understanding of policies.
  • Accurately calculate and process all salary and deductions as per employee contracts and policies, including statutory payments etc.
  • Proven experience in payroll administration and/or have good analytical capability with numbers as well as excellent attention to detail
  • Computer savvy with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using HRMS and payroll systems.
  • Processes all payroll transactions and activities in accordance with approved processes and policies.
  • Completes data entry and data rectification for effective payroll delivery within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensures compliance with legislation and employment agreements and provides interpretation as required.
