We are looking for an experienced senior payroll professional to join a fast paced and dynamic organisation. This is a hands-on BAU payroll role, providing senior-level oversight whilst the Payroll Manager is on a project.

The role
You will be responsible for:

• Supporting accurate end-to-end payroll processing
• Reviewing payroll completed by the team and identifying any issues
• Managing complex or escalated payroll queries
• Providing guidance and support to the wider team
• Improving payroll processes, controls and consistency

About you
We are looking for someone with strong end-to-end payroll experience who can quickly step in, take ownership and provide confidence to the wider business.
You will ideally have:

• Senior Payroll Advisor, Payroll Specialist or Team Leader experience
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation
• Experience reviewing and improving payroll processes
• Confidence supporting and guiding other payroll team members
• A practical, calm approach and the ability to work effectively through change
• IMS and/or PayGlobal experience would be advantageous
