Senior Project Manager – 6 Month Contract

Senior Project Manager for a 6-month contract based in Auckland. This role will suit a confident delivery professional with strong experience leading complex technology and digital initiatives across web, mobile application, integration and business change environments.

You will work across business, technology and external vendor teams, providing clear delivery leadership, governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities

• Lead complex digital and technology projects across web, mobile, integration and business change
• Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and governance reporting
• Engage with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams
• Manage third-party vendors, delivery partners and service providers
• Support implementation planning, release readiness and Go/No-Go decision-making
• Lead cross-functional teams across internal and external workstreams
• Maintain delivery artefacts, reporting and project governance using Jira and Confluence

Background we are looking for

• 7+ years’ project management experience across complex technology or digital delivery
• Experience delivering web, mobile application, systems integration and business change projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proven vendor management experience
• Confident working across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments
• Advanced hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence
• Strong planning, governance, reporting and delivery execution capability
• Relevant project management qualification or equivalent experience
