About the role
This is a chance to join a high performing project team within a large Govt agency in the CBD and lead their SAP payroll technical solution for the next 12 months!

This role focuses on leading and delivering the company’s SAP payroll system function through several complex strategic initiatives whilst working along side the IT and product teams.

The head office is based in the CBD and only a short walk from the train station and public transport links
This is a fixed term role however we will also welcome interest from hourly rate contractors and consultants who fit the requirements of this opportunity.

What you’ll be doing
This is a SAP SME level role where you’ll need experience with the system from a user and technical point of view. This role sits within a project team and focuses on the upgrade of specific modules and user interface requirements across the system.

Ideally, you will have a strong background in end-to-end payroll and then transitioned into a system orientated role where you have been specialising in SAP payroll configuration and continued to build your career in this space.

To be successful in this role you must have the following experience:

  • At least 6 years of SAP payroll technical and functional experience
  • Confident in conducting SAP implementations across large complex environments
  • Comfortable with cross functional delivery of SAP payroll updates using various methodologies
  • A strong comprehension of end-to-end payroll.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • The legal right to work in New Zealand.
