A rare opportunity has presented for an experienced Service Design Lead to join a progressive feel good organisation to provide a high level of Service Design expertise.

We’re looking for an exceptional Service Design Lead to help shape a bold, human-centred digital experience that will change how young people access support across Aotearoa.

This project is a complex, high-impact and equity-driven, with a strong focus on supporting local communities.

We need someone who brings design leadership with humility, knows how to listen deeply, and can navigate the real-world challenges of safety, accessibility and cultural nuance.

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, health support professionals, Technology team and external vendors to bring this service to life mid 2026.

• Workshop and facilitation confidence, leading diverse groups with clarity and calm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, absorbing feedback from a wide range of voices across a wide group of cultures.
• Analytical thinking paired with strong user-centred design practice
• Genuine humility and cultural awareness is essential for this role.
• A commitment to valuing others, building trust and designing content to support a broad range of cultures.

This role is based in central Auckland with hybrid working and a competitive hourly rate with a mid January 2026 start.
