Role Overview:
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for applying effective analysis, design, programming, integration, and testing skills to produce software systems. They will ensure that the software that they contribute to producing is of high quality, is secure and reliable, and that it meets the needs of both our customers and our business. They will assist with the technical direction of projects and contribute their skills and insights to help the teams that they work with to succeed in the pursuit of our mission.

Responsibilities: 

• This is a full stack .Net focused role working in a geographically dispersed team to maintain the software whilst looking to the future to modernize the technology infrastructure.
• Supporting other functions such as Site Reliability, Release Management and Customer Operations in successful deployment, knowledge transfer and operation of software to customers including ensuring SLAs are met.
• Acting as an escalation point for production incidents, including being scheduled for on-call support work.
• Providing first hand supervision, guidance and mentoring to designated lower-level Software Engineers on assigned activities.
• May act as technology authority in short- or long-term planning, making recommendations on technical policies within an overall program, developing proofs of concept, and introducing new technologies to the team.

Experience & Qualifications:

• At least 4-5 years’ experience in software development.
• Tertiary qualifications in computer science, IT or engineering (computing science major).
• Good written and oral communications.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Problem identification and process management skills.
• A demonstrated ability to perform work in a team environment in accordance with established standards.
• Experience working within a regulated or compliance focused environment such as Health or Finance is desirable.
• Experience with .NET, C#, and SQL.
• Preferred experience with technologies that are relevant to Lunit, including SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, Linux, DICOM, FHIR, and HL7.
• Preferred experience in supporting software in Production environments.
• Preferred experience in supporting technical pre-sales activities.
• Preferred experience in information security standards such as ISO27001, CIS and NIST.
