H2R Technology is excited to be partnering with Lunit International to recruit a Senior Technical product Manager.

Lunit are on a mission to conquer cancer through AI. The Lunit Cancer Screening Cloud Platform provides a secure, HIPAA-compliant technology platform for deploying AI-powered Software as a Medical Device products from the Lunit Cancer Screening Group.

The Senior Technical Product Manager is a critical role that bridges engineering, product, and commercial teams to ensure regulated products are delivered securely, reliably, and efficiently to healthcare organisations globally.

This role sets the strategic direction for the platform, driving initiatives that reduce time-to-market, accelerate customer time-to-value, ensure operational excellence, enable the secure flow of data to Lunit’s Data and AI Platforms, and effectively manage risks related to patient safety, privacy, information security, and regulatory compliance.

This role exists to take end-to-end ownership of the Cancer Screening Cloud Platform as a product, enabling product teams, data and AI platforms, and operations to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions globally.We are seeking a strategically minded, structurally focused Senior Technical Product Manager to take product ownership of this core platform infrastructure layer.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns and drives the strategic roadmap for the Cancer Screening Cloud Platform, aligning with the group’s long-term vision and reducing time-to-market for products.
  • Collaborates with product development pods to understand their needs and address them through the platform roadmap, accelerating customer time-to-value.
  • Understands and addresses the needs of operational teams, driving improvements to operational efficiency and reducing time to enable customers and resolve support issues.
  • Optimises operational costs including cloud hosting charges, ensuring the platform delivers value efficiently at scale.
  • Enables the secure, privacy-compliant flow of data between customer clinical systems, platform-hosted products, and Lunit’s Data Platform supporting analytics, customer operations, and AI model research and development.
  • Leads trade-off decisions across performance, cost, scalability, and compliance to ensure sustainable platform growth.
  • Contributes to assessment and management of risks associated with information security, patient privacy, regulatory compliance, standards conformance, and customer contractual obligations. Ensures platform risk controls are tracked, monitored, and optimised.
  • Meets with IT and Information Security stakeholders from customers to establish credibility and trust that Lunit’s platform can securely and reliably operate critical clinical workflows.
  • Indirectly leads a pod of engineers toward the platform vision, managing strategic and tactical activities toward release objectives.
  • Collaborates across time zones with teams in Wellington, Seoul, North America, Europe, and APAC.
  • Advises and mentors product managers and stakeholders on platform strategy, process, and direction

Experience & Qualifications
  

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in technical product management, platform engineering leadership, or equivalent roles.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) including cloud cost optimisation.
  • Experience delivering multi-tenant SaaS or platform-based products at scale.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry with understanding of healthcare IT systems and clinical workflows.
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g. DICOM, HL7/FHIR, PACS, RIS, EHR integrations).
  • Understanding of information security, privacy, and compliance standards relevant to healthcare (e.g. HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with highly technical engineering teams and translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience setting strategy, managing backlogs, roadmaps, and release planning in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Ability to lead teams across time zones, including New Zealand, South Korea, North America, and Europe.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior IT and InfoSec stakeholders from large healthcare organisations.
