Initial 6-month contracts with potential extensions

• $140–$150 per hour
• Two roles spanning AWS Cloud, Azure Identity and Applications across key portfolios

We’re looking for two experienced Solution Architects to join a major technology environment on initial six-month contracts.
These roles will work across two key portfolios, with a combination of Cloud and Application architecture. There is a strong AWS focus across the cloud environment, while some important services – particularly Identity – remain within Azure.

You’ll work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and other architects to turn complex requirements into practical, secure and scalable solutions. You’ll be comfortable operating across multiple initiatives, providing architecture direction from initial requirements through to delivery.
What you’ll be doing

• Designing and delivering solutions across AWS cloud, applications, infrastructure and Azure-based services
• Providing architecture leadership across multiple projects and workstreams
• Translating complex technical information into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Working across cloud technologies, networking, data centre environments, platform migrations and enterprise directories
• Supporting identity initiatives that deliver both business and security outcomes
• Providing architecture input from requirements and design through to implementation
• Working collaboratively with delivery teams in an Agile environment
• Ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with broader technology strategy

What we’re looking for You’ll be an experienced Solution Architect with a broad technology background and the ability to work across both strategic and delivery-focused architecture.
Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Strong commercial experience across AWS, with good knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Experience architecting cloud and application solutions
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud infrastructure, platform migration and enterprise directories
• Previous data centre migration experience
• Experience delivering Identity and Access Management initiatives
• Demonstrated experience taking technology initiatives from requirements through to delivery
• Previous experience delivering within Agile environments
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a wider architecture team

Contract: Initial 6 months, with potential periodic extensions
Rate: $140–$150 per hour
