As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be the firm’s trusted advisor on all aspects of recruitment, leading the attraction and selection of high‑quality talent across its legal practice and head‑office functions. Working as part of a well‑established and supportive People & Culture team, you will have full ownership of the talent function, providing a genuine opportunity to build strategic sourcing capability and develop sustainable talent pipelines. You will also lead the firm’s graduate recruitment programme, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the next generation of legal professionals while positioning the firm as an employer of choice within the legal market.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment across legal practice groups and corporate functions
  • Own and deliver the firm’s summer clerk and graduate recruitment programmes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, law student groups and specialist recruitment partners
  • Partner with senior leaders and the People & Culture team to provide practical, well‑informed talent advice
  • Drive employer branding and market engagement initiatives
  • Provide recruitment insights and reporting to support workforce planning and continuous improvement
About You
You are a proactive and polished Talent Advisor with a strong end‑to‑end recruitment background, gained either in‑house or within agency environments. You’re confident managing the full recruitment lifecycle — from taking detailed briefs and creating compelling job advertisements, through to sourcing, headhunting and delivering exceptional candidate and hiring‑manager experiences. You build trust and credibility quickly and are comfortable influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders. You understand how to identify and attract hard‑to‑find talent and know how to tailor your approach across different markets and roles.

Ideally, you bring experience within the legal sector — whether through legal recruitment, working within a law firm, or recruiting legal professionals in an in‑house environment. Most importantly, you understand how lawyers operate and what strong legal talent looks like. Experience leading graduate or early‑career programmes is highly desirable.
