We’re seeking an experienced Team and Customer Support professional to join a busy, community-focused organisation based in Tāmaki. This is a hands-on role combining reception, customer service and administration support, ensuring daily operations run smoothly across two office locations. About the position:

  • Manage the daily operation and presentation of front desk and reception area
  • Answer inbound calls, resolve customer enquiries where possible and transfer calls appropriately.
  • Provide administrative support to leadership and wider teams to ensure efficient operations.
  • Coordinate meetings, hui and events, including room preparation and catering arrangements.
  • Assist with general office management tasks, including oversight of access and health & safety requirements.
  • Support fleet coordination, servicing and safety checks.
  • Maintain accurate records, complete follow-ups and update internal systems.
  • Liaise with internal staff, community members and external stakeholders to support effective communication.

About you:

  • Proven experience in reception, administration or a similar customer-facing support role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confident handling a wide range of enquiries from diverse stakeholders.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and experience using CRM systems (desirable).
  • Culturally aware, empathetic and adaptable.
