We are seeking a senior Technical Lead to join a customer-facing delivery team supporting a large global organisation in Auckland.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining software architecture, full-stack delivery and technical mentoring. You will guide the modernisation of a mixed application environment spanning legacy .NET Framework, modern .NET, Angular and Azure.

You will work closely with developers, architects, product owners and senior stakeholders to establish clear technical direction, improve development practices and reduce technical debt without slowing delivery.

The role will also focus on strengthening API design, integration patterns, application security and CI/CD practices. You will lead technical workshops, support key design decisions and provide guidance across sprint and release activity.

What you will bring

You will have strong commercial experience across modern .NET and legacy .NET Framework, along with full-stack capability across backend, frontend and integration environments.

Experience with Angular or another leading SPA framework is important, as is strong Azure knowledge across services such as App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Azure SQL and Service Bus.

You will also bring proven technical leadership, strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to explain complex design decisions clearly.
Experience with Zero Trust, DevSecOps, FinOps or relevant Azure certifications would be useful but is not essential.
