About the role
Support individuals and whānau to sustain safe, long-term housing outcomes within a growing indigenous organisation delivering community, housing, and wellbeing services across Auckland. These opportunities sit within a collaborative tenancy team supporting a diverse range of clients across transitional and social housing environments. Work closely with support workers and wider community teams in a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Duties

  • Manage tenancy administration including lease agreements, renewals, and related documentation
  • Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance requirements
  • Support tenants to sustain successful long-term tenancies
  • Work collaboratively with support workers and wider community teams
  • Assist with rent management, payment plans, and tenancy-related matters
  • Coordinate property visits, appointments, and tenancy processes across multiple sites
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with tenancy procedures

Skills & experience

  • Previous tenancy, property, housing, or community sector experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse communities
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Open-minded, empathetic, and values-driven approach
  • Confident communication skills and ability to manage challenging conversations professionally
  • Full driver’s licence required
